about

This is the Track 2 of our 1964 World's Fair talk, on the history and development of the Illinois pavilion's Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln attraction.

If you're in the New York area, you can see the actual life mask of Lincoln that Disney used for this animatronic figure. Created in 1860 by Leonard Volk, a bronze cast from the original plaster mold is in The American Wing of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
