Jimmy hunt loving the show. I don't seem to have the bonus story on my feed here. also, what is that building between rockn rollercoaster and tower of terror. it looks like a theater and feels new. can you share, or should I just GFGI?

WDWPassholder I really enjoy the podcasts, please keep providing Disney insider details. I listened to several recent episodes via the iPhone Bandcamp app, but was hoping to hear an update about the addition of a Broadway type stage / theater to the Magic Kingdom. I skipped many years going to the Very Merry party after Disney discontinued the short play Night before Christmas. The small stage next to Buzz ride was so great for being able to actually see & enjoy watching while relaxing. Why was that area torn down? Please tell me whether the rumor is true or not that the new Broadway theater has been canceled? Remember when Disney used to have multiple stage shows besides Belle?

about

In the late 1908's, at the height of MTV's cultural relevance, Disney executives thought it would be a good idea to try to make Minnie Mouse into a pop star along the lines of Madonna. (We're not making this up.)

To appeal to a younger, hipper generation, Disney produced a TV special called "Totally Minnie". Not only was it Minnie's first starring role, but the supporting cast included Suzanne Somers, Vanna White, and (somehow) Elton John.

TV critics were merciless, calling it "excruciating" and that "it would need work to even qualify as a disaster."

Who thought this was a good idea, and how did it happen? Jim gives us the details.

lyrics

This updated version has the IllumiNations story that was missing from the original release.
