"It's not a contract, it's a suicide pact." The history of Journey into Imagination

by The Disney Dish Podcast with Jim Hill Media

Live from Epcot - Jim and Len talk about this history of this once-beloved attraction.

When Journey into Imagination opened in Epcot, it was charming, whimsical, and lighthearted. Universally loved by adults and children. But the contract between Disney and Kodak required it be overhauled every 10 years.

Jim brings to the table (literally) a set of internal memos from the Disney company describing how that disastrous remake happened, and what Disney did in response. We'll read them in all their terrible, terrible detail, for the first time ever.
